Dear Colleagues,
I am very pleased to be able to gather again with you in another congress. Our 38th National Radiology Congress TURKRAD2017, our most comprehensive educational and scientific annual event with vocational and social unity our society provides, will be held in Sueno Deluxe Hotel and Convention Center Belek Antalya on October 31-November 4, 2017.
Our Congress Scientific Committee President Dr. Can Cevikol has been preparing a successful program together with the Congress Scientific Committee. They have determined “Multisystem diseases” and “Appropriateness and imaging algorithm” as our main congress themes.
Topic contents were selected according to your feedbacks and in this direction two day long courses in the field of “Head- Neck Radiology” and “Musculoskeletal Radiology Imaging” will take place during our congress. Besides basic subjects, recent topics and new developments will also be considered. Topic titles were planned with a two leveled approach: Level 1 for basic information of the related topic and Level 2 for more specific and advanced learning. Also this year the number of “Case Based” presentations will increase.
As members of this profession we are in an activity which bears tremendous responsibility and forms the backbone of health care services, in a wide spectrum ranging from specialty education to practice, from the university environment to studies in private health system. This kind of study process brings a lot of occupational and legal problems. For this reason, as in previous years we are expecting your participation and contributions to “Among Us” session where we will discuss our problems and possible solutions.
One of the main objects of the congresses is social integration. In this context, we will try to create more time for social and sportive events that we can gather together. I am looking forward to get together at a successful meeting and end our congress as well equipped and satisfied.
